My little bubbly friend

My pal yesterday, today and tomorrow...

I just got home from a day of tiring work. The room's quite dim so I turn one light on, enough to see the walls while still keeping the cozy atmosphere. It was so quiet that I can hear every steps I made. Slowly I went in the kitchen to see my friend from long time ago. After some quick arrangement, I went back to the living room and sat in one corner. My favorite spot. Sited like an Indian, I settled myself to comfortable.

Now, one on one with my friend. Though my little bubbly friend never utter a single word, through the years we're still together. Always cool. Whether we are celebrating a special occasion or venting out the grudges we experienced, he never dared leave. A true friend indeed.

Started to felt really silent now. Reminiscing the days of my uncertainties. The times where I see a backward direction of my future. myThinking days as I call them. Pathetic. The word I would use to define my life then. "What am I thinking then?" I myself don't know. Then a grin. A laugh. A silent laugh, confirming that I was able to surpass those make or break times of my life. Thanks be to God!

I would like to propose a toss to my little bubbly friend! My pal yesterday, today and tomorrow...SanMig. Hurray!

Sick of it

"Against all odds that comes, we Filipinos still manages to smile. Such a gift unique to us. "

I changed the channel on the TV to watch my favorite lunch news program. And I can't believe what I am seeing, every news segment features the Filipino Champ. From his arrival to the hotel where he stayed. Every movement, oh! can't stand it. Well I am not against him or what. Sure I am proud about his recent victory for he brings the pride of the Filipino people. What makes me the antagonist of the scene is the unfair attention being given to him over the unknown heroes that brings the same prestige and pride to our country. We have ALLOT of artist, inventors, athletes of the same caliber that not only makes us proud but as well makes noise to the world saying "Hey, I am Filipino and I make my country proud".

Here's the slice of my story. Philippines is a third world country. This physical sport is not the answer to improve the life of every single Filipino. Sure every fight creates an aura of momentary unity, however, we do not need a transient solutions to revive the struggling status of our country. If I'll be given the power, I'll focus on two things; Technology and Natural resources. This are the two areas where I see that our country will make an edge over the others.

At the end of the day, we'll still enjoy every fight this warriors will try to endure to obtain the sweet victory of being the champ. Against all odds that comes, we Filipinos still manages to smile. Such a gift unique to us.

Events

Things that are happening... good or bad... are what makes us live and not just merely exist. ~myTaberu

I am overwhelmed by the news that comes in the inbox of my cell phone. Happenings from the lives of people I was able to share a piece of my life...

* Death of the grandfather of myChristmas Lights
* Death of the father of myMC
* myPyche leaving to Dubai
* new born baby boy of myEm.em's sister

The recent events proves some realization to me..

~We must live each minute of our life to the fullest.
~Don't take people for granted.
~When someone leaves, another will arrive
~Death is not an end, its a start
~One can have allot of friends, but there will be a category for the "near in my heart"
~Tears are biased
~When someone dies, you become closer to your relatives (you even discover new ones')
