On Perspective

Sometimes we tend to see things narrowly that we feel bad about our self. Well myFriend, try widening your view and look things at a different angle. If you can't see the goodness at your view point, try HIS view. You'll be dazed in awe.See things, on perspective...

Settling myself a few minutes after arriving from an exhausting trip from Manila to San Fernando, Pampanga, I immediately turn on my PC in order to download the pictures I have took from my cellphone. Not so excited huh? :) However, upon entering my log in information and pressing the Enter key, Boom! the power supply of the computer, gone. Come on computer! Not now. Okay those are the thoughts that are stirring in my mind while I telepathically talked to Eight (the name of my PC) hoping it would answer back. Sadly, Eight died that day. Nice timing huh?

Morning came, I decided to bring Eight to the computer shop to be checked or repaired, if necessary. I am hesitant at first to continue since the weather's not so fine due to the typhoon. At the end, however, I asked mySis to help me bring the computer to the shop just in case the rain pours I have someone to cover my dead PC.

We came at the shop thankfully, dry :) We didn't wait long as well, thanks to the attentive and prompt service of myCompTech. Nice service! Eight was revived in no time. Since I am at the shop already, I asked the sales lady if there were available RAM (Random Access Memory) compatible for my computer. Fortunately, no stock.

Our next stop, the wireless center to apply for broadband connection. The application process went smoothly but for one thing. When I was about to pay the initial monthly fee, network went offline. How lucky can I get? Now, this made me think. Is heaven creating some conspiracy about all this misfortune?

Rather than dwelling on these mishaps, let me commend myBroadbandGuy for the excellent customer service he gave. In less than thirty minutes or so, I was able to complete the whole process of application. Every now and then update on the status of my application, full disclosure of the service, courteous warm and with a smile interaction with the customer, what more can I ask! I am giving five stars to myBroadbandGuy for the distinguished service.

On perspective, I may see myself unlucky or "malas". But widening my perspective to view on the larger part of the picture made me realized that hey, I'm lucky! When Eight broke down, I just prayed. Why should I worry when the computer's warrantied for two years! The death of my PC created some quality time with mySis. We were able to exchange stories about the conference and my experience in it and her, with the recent religious gathering she attended in Tagaytay (she's hoping to be part of a singles Christian Community) as well as the fun she had at Enchanted Kingdom theme park.

Thanks God there were no stock on the PC hardware(RAM) I am supposed to buy, I was able to save money. Sweet :) As with the bad weather and the network issue at the wireless center, these were stumped by the superb customer service I had.
